Since 2002, she has represented clients in domestic and international arbitrations and mediations across Latin America, Europe, the United States, and Africa, in disputes involving corporate transactions, construction contracts, infrastructure, energy sector conflicts, real estate, agribusiness, contracts with public authorities, among others. She combines this practice with dispute prevention as well as the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts. Sílvia also serves as an arbitrator.
She is recognized for her arbitration practice by GAR100, Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal), Leaders League, Latin Lawyer, and The Legal 500. She is included in the roster of arbitrators of the following institutions: CAM-CCBC, CAMARB, AMCHAM, and ARBITAC.
Sílvia is frequently invited to speak at leading arbitration conferences in Brazil and abroad, as well as to lecture on Arbitration at universities, such as in the postgraduate program at Mackenzie University. She has also contributed articles to major publications on arbitration in recent years.
