Sílvia has been representing local and foreign clients since 2002 in domestic and international arbitrations and mediations in Latin America, Europe, the U.S., and Africa, in disputes involving corporate transactions, construction contracts, infrastructure, conflicts related to the energy sector, real estate, agribusiness, contracts with the public administration, among others.

She also provides strategic consulting in disputes (prevention and resolution) and advises clients in the negotiation and drafting of complex contracts.

  • UNCITRAL International Arbitration. Languages: Spanish and Portuguese. Dispute based in Madrid between an African state-owned company and a multinational related to a diamond exploration contract. Amount in dispute: USD 100 million.
  • LCIA International Arbitration. Language: English. London-based dispute between an African state-owned company and a multinational concerning project finance contract. Amount in dispute: £ 170 million.
